Miranda Loud, mezzo-soprano

Trained as an organist with a Master’s degree from Eastman School of Music, Miranda began studying voice in her early 30’s and has performed with several professional choirs, most recently Handel and Haydn Society Chorus (2012 to the present) under Harry Christophers and Jonathan Cohen. She has performed solo recitals and solo oratorio with various groups in New York and around New England. She created several interdisciplinary concerts with the Rialto Ensemble which she and baritone Bruce Rameker created (1996 - 2008). She is the alto soloist on the recording of J.S. Bach’s Four Lutheran Masses (BWV 233-236) with The Publick Musick in Rochester, NY and can also be heard on several CD recordings by the Handel and Haydn Society.
